Just a quick hello. Been floating around this forum for a while but finally bit the bullet last week and purchased myself another Rallye. Had a red Rallye (T677 LNC in case anyone on here has it) back in 2007 and loved it. Also had a 6 in 2002 swapped my 1.8 16v Clio for it. Although I like the latest hot hatch offerings nothing beats these old girls for smiles!

Welcome. What's the deal with the Rallye? All standard?

Cheers guys. Plan is to try keep it as standard as possible. Currently has some after market headlights and steering wheel on but I have the standard items ready to go Back on.

First job will be a cambelt. Learnt the hard way on my old Rallye! Then I will do a full suspension refresh with good quality as close to oe spec gear as I can get (Bilstein seem to be a popular choice from what I’ve read) but it will be getting used so won’t be going for a full concourse rebuild! Track days/Nurburgring etc will be on the cards.

That's fairly low these days Tom. Was it a local car?

Travelled up to County Durham for it so not to far. Seems to be a good honest clean car needs some work but don’t they all! That’s part of the fun! It’s got plenty of history with it, every single mot certificate which is nice. Apart from driving it home it’s not really done much as the cam belt was last done in 2015 so want to get that sorted.

Think it might be mine that’s full. Even after deleting everything?
