Hi all,

With the likes of pug fest and all car shows not happening at the moment. I have not been able to get out and look at others cars to help me decide what I do and don't like, and ultimately the direction I want to take my car in.

My car is a 1999 6 in Diablo red. It's completely standard at the moment.

Would anyone have some good photos of a 6 lowered 35/40/60mm on standard cyclones running 50 profile tyres.

Also interested in what other aesthetic mods and tweeks look good on the gti6.

Thanks all.

I'd say if you are wanting to fill the arches 50-profile tyres are not a go. They are 9.5% lower sidewall/3% less rolling diameter so can look a bit lost in the arches, but good idea for a track car as cheaper to run and the lower gearing is not an issue on track. Best handling for a road driving 6 is close to standard height, still feels firm but is amazingly supple over undulating or off-camber B-roads where the 6 really shines. Lowest for decent handling is -35mm Eibach springs. A 6 in standard trim is one of the best handling hot hatches ever. Slamming it to the floor 1990s style may look good to some, but destroys its true greatness and reduces it to Astra 1.6 levels of handling.

Not the greatest pictures for definition but my 6, which has been lowered I think 30mm, on 195/50/15 PilotSport 3's
