MOT 6th November 2020. 6 years of ownership, 5 previous owners (2 since 2005).
Within the last 2k miles:
- Front discs and pads
- Front tyres (Michelin Pilot Sport) balanced and re-aligned.
- Cambelt & water pump done on 84k miles (previous on 41k).
New battery, original handbook and paperwork with servicing history. Original radio with code. 2 x spare keys. Osram night breaker headlights. NGK Iridium spark plugs.
Mechanically strong, pulls away well with no hesitation. Aesthetically good, all original bodywork with some inevitable light markings. Worn driver's seat - not patched up as uncertain on the new owners plans. Bought with slight tapping noise, investigated and positive outcome showing no detriment to performance. No air con and a few interior bulbs out. Kept as original as possible, one modification which is a K&N air intake installed by the previous owner which I love! Have kept along with the standard intake, all electrics are functioning as usual, non-smoker or pet owner.
It's been my weekend driver for the last year but it's time to let someone else enjoy it. The handling is the highlight and is very rewarding, pulls well and sounds great! These GTi-6's are a dying breed and this is a rare, untouched example.
