Hello all, just wanted to introduce myself on the forum.

Got my first gti6 a few weeks ago Big grin

So far not done much more than wash it and try to put some miles on it at the weekends running around with the kid.

I'm loving the car so far. The car wasn't driven much by the previous owner so I'm expecting with my more regular use to have to iron out some teething issues along the way this year. But I cant wait. Hoping to get to a few local meets/shows if I can with it. Many other Gti6 & Rallye owners from the Brighton area on here?

I'm determined to have a go at fixing bits more myself with this car, as I really do get just as much satisfaction tinkering as I do driving a car.

So really just wanted to introduce my self, say sorry for the novice posts that will follow and thank you in advance for wise words of wisdom. Places like this forum are an invaluable source of information and life saver for weekend warriors like me.

Cheers

James

Thanks for the welcome.

No major plans for the car short term, just using it regular at weekends and ironing out any gremlins that might appear from it being used. Hopefully have some nice weekend weather to look forward to for the rest of the year.

Also looking forward to getting out and meeting some fellow owners. I know I have missed Pugfest this year, but any other shows and meets I should try and get to?

https://www.facebook.com/events/2390578554531744/?ti=l come and say hi. I'm at the regular meets with my Rallye and another James attends with his super charged gti-6, couple of 306 wagons as well as other assorted French tin.
