I'm dismantlting my damaged driver's door for the lock barrel, etc and want to remove the check strap but can't get it through the hole. I'm cutting up the door to get the lock barrel out so can do the same for the check strap, but how can I fit to a good door?________________________________________ S Reg Diablo standardsSpec SORNEDR Reg Nile standard spec written off then repaired X Reg Astor in need of TLC R Reg Nile to restore Set of Lions to fit. |

The barrel is just held in place by a metal clip. The check strap is 4 x 10mm and knock out the roll pin. My door was badly crushed by the artic so no space to get the contents out!I'll cut out the check strap then knock out the roll bin on a bench - Can they be re-used? ________________________________________ S Reg Diablo standardsSpec SORNEDR Reg Nile standard spec written off then repaired X Reg Astor in need of TLC R Reg Nile to restore Set of Lions to fit. |
