High Boost is probably better understood I'd say in terms of the number of people who have done it and how you get there.
Proven gains etc.

With turbo there's a bit more fab work involved and probably some additional challenges with tuning/mapping but in fairness it's still doable, a few on here have done it.

ITBs,cams,HC pistons,springs,lifters and etc. to pass 200WHP.Or 7 Psi for 240-250.

Turbo.
Stock bottom end with a GTX2867 turbo and only 7psi will see 280bhp, youll have to limit the torque in the mid range to preserve the rods by running less than optimum ignition advance

Lots of options, i have built quite a few gti6 turbos now with all sorts of combos

On the wheel? My car with 42 mm ITBs and CatCams 109 (not 106, the bigger for stnd springs) delivered almost 160 on the wheel.
