Anyone on here had a decent crack with/own a 208GTi by Peugeot Sport version?

I got a test drive at a local Ford dealership, but bloody useless, round the ring road at 40mph. Main dealership timewaster -some gal who had no idea of what she was selling and under instruction to permit L H turns only -! So none the wiser as to the real business.

Interested to know how it stacks up vs the 6.

Friend of mine has one. It is fast! Handles well. I will check if he has any videos from the Ring.

I was on a long weekend drive out over the North Yorkshire Moors and Dales. One was there.....and it was quick.

The Xsara would at least match it on the bends but the 208 would pull away in the straights. With another circa 60bhp over the Xsara (this one was slightly modded) I'm not suprised.

Thanks x 2 .Great pic (even if literally). Sublime driving roads eh. Winter testing grounds for roadholding...

Must try & get my hands on another 208 GTi bPS. I sensed it was quick, was dying to try some fast cornering & a blast on roads I know, but, no, not allowed. It would be the only car I'd consider selling the 6 for. Better still, acquire bps & keep 6. £££££££££££££££££££££££
