This morning, an artic changed lanes and clipped the rear RHS pushing me into the barrier and made a big dent in the driver's door then proceeded to push me a few hundred yards as the driver said he thought he had a puncture so didn't stop right away.

Anyone got a replacement?

There's a Nile for sale in Manchester I'm looking at on Sunday.

Not been run for 4 years so don't yet know if saveable.

I've loads of new and used parts like air-con pipes, wheels, sill covers, mirrors, hockry strips, plus probably the only brand new factory sealed gearbox in the world!

The Astor Just needs a new seat and maybe the air-con fixing.

Looks like the sill and door surround is okay so a cheap scrap door would get it useable. Just had a complete new exhaust, clutch, radiator, condenser, and MOT. Has a very rare Clarion 12 disk changer that uses two of the 6 disc magazines and has done 280,000 miles.

I've put down a deposit on the Astor. Will pick up this weekend.

Just needs driver's seat, Clarion CD/Radio, rear wiper, and passenger drive shaft changing.

Wow, glad your ok bud. What a shame mate - especially seeing how much you've recently spent on parts but at least you can take those parts off and maybe use on another car or sell on. Is this the start of a project thread then for the astor? Thumbs up

I'll just replace the essentials for now and maybe get the other Nile and make a good one out of them.

I'll then have three, probably the best colours, Diablo, Nile, and Astor

I think if 60 mph was allowed in road works I would have been seriously injured or killed.

you are joking.... total bummer. But at least you stayed lucky w the truck episode.
There'll be loads of ppl on here knowing good body shops in the NW surely.

Why don't ppl look where they're shunting their mass production bog standard runabouts....

Pretty much the full car. But I don’t need the panels.

Engine + box
Brakes
Some interiors bits
Wheels
