Trying to find a replacement wheel nut for the one that was stolen off my car. Can anyone please help with an original nut or advise if there are suitable alternatives to fit the Alloys fitted to the Phase 3 Gti6's.Cheers stontamar ________________________________________ Dave Mallinson |

Dave, can you remove one of the others and have a look at it. It will be very obvious if it's a flat seat or tapered seat bolt.________________________________________ Cherry Red Rallye .... Changeover was May 2000 so roughly halfway through phase 3 production.Early cyclones will only take the early bolt. Later cyclones will take both types of bolt. The early bolt is chrome plated with no cap whereas the later bolt is not and has (or at least should have) a trim cap over the top. Of course at this age it's pot luck as to whether or not the car is still on its original wheels. ________________________________________ Rich |

Have extract one wheel bolt and its the flat type. So not sure its the alloy is the earlier or later type but will fit with the same type. Ben W if you still have a spare would be grateful to purchase one from you. My e-mail address is stontamar@sky.comOnce again thanks for all the replies.
