I found a set of Bosch super 4s part no fr78x I think these were for my old ph3 online it states there for ph3 only. I was going to use them for my ph2 is it just a case of changing the gap or is there another reason why these wouldn’t work ?

I use them on all my 306's. All phases. No problem.

there's a vague recollection that people were having issues with Super 4's I know I used to use them but i'm sure something happened that put me off them,.. I use NGK BKR6EK

They'll be fine to use as-is.

They're not listed for earlier cars because the extended service intervals were only introduced on the late phase 2 onwards. The standard service intervals on the earlier cars are short enough to mean the benefits of the Super 4 never really come into play.

They'll work just fine in earlier cars though.

You bought them off me last year on ebay, The listing shows phase3 only as I have to put down what's shown on the catalogues to cover my back, I've used them in the Sigma before now. I always seem to go back to the eyquem plugs though.

Clicky
Sell quite a few of them but you were the last on that listing for them, recognised your name when you bought them. pity my memory wasn't that good when it came to checking coolant levels may have saved me from the rebuild on the engine coming up.
