For those into the restoration game, or needing a panel to repair damage/rot, I've got my hands on another stiffener panel. Came from a rust free New Zealand car. It's been cleaned up and is pretty much ready to fit. Undamaged, doesn't appear to have ever seen a trolley jack and completely rust/rot free.

NLA from Peugeot, £148 if you did ever find one. £80 + post Ono.

They were spot welded originally, how are you refixing yours?

Not sure yet. I need to get a welder person sorted out but fully expect to have to plug weld it back on

I'm in the process of fitting new to mine. I'm just plug welding where the previous spot welds have been drilled out.

It's not a pleasant job if the car is just on axle stands though I can tell you that for free! Doh Laugh

Plug welds were what I envisaged, but like you Ben, I'll be leaving this to someone who hopefully knows what they're doing (ie, not me!)

John, yes. It incorporates part of the subframe mounting.
