I unplugged the brown plug near the thermostat housing and only the right hand fan is working, should both work? Which fan should come on when the air con is on as neither come on and my air con just makes a funny noise ![]() |

Both should work. When the brown is unplugged both should come on low speed for a few seconds then both on high speed. Both should come on with the air-con being turned on too. ________________________________________ Goldie the track car. |

My hdi did this, was a corroded pin on the main fan loom connector, bottom rhs of radiator. It screwed up the wiring feeds such that I got no fans, as tha serial circuit was fudged, until one came on full speed when the changeover relay delivered the 12v feed to the second fan in parallel.________________________________________ I'm Si btw![]() Night Blue VW Golf GTD Bianca LBSC Rallye - Track/Road Slag Project Thread Sparkling Silver Mini Cooper D - Super Dooper ![]() |
