All,

I managed to break my windscreen by dropping my bonnet on it. Properly annoyed as I'm certain it was the original.

As part of the search for a replacement, we've unearthed 3 at one dealers. Service box have these listed at I think £160 each (can't check as I've got all kinds of issues with Service box chucking out error messages...) Parts man has worked his magic and got a deal on them.

Two are already spoken for. I'm having one, someone else I know restoring a Rallye is having another. There is one left.

£120 DELIVERED to pretty much most places in the UK, although price may vary and increase a bit for far out postcodes. Delivered via a man with van, not via any of the major parcel carriers. Will be the same guy that got a bonnet to me from Scotland without a mark on it.

Useful for anyone doing a restoration and wants original glass etc. Delivery will be early May.

8116 V0 with heat-resistant film or standard 8116 H7 ?

8116 K8 is the screen for the phase 1 and the lower spec phase 2/3 models (incl. Rallye) that don't have the rain sensor.

There is still one of the three screens found available. As said, these screens are for ph1 cars and Rallyes due to being for cars without rain sensors.

The delivery man and van is going to the dealers on Monday is the latest update i have. Its a bespoke delivery service so you will receive a whole screen, not a 1m piece glass jigsaw. Ive sent pms back to everyone who messaged me expressing an interest but had no replies.

If anyone wants the last one, please let me know. Need to have it worked out by close of play friday to ensure delivery. If it doesnt go, it will remain at the dealers but highly doubtful you will get it for anywhere near this price, let alone delivered.
