The Speedo, Rev counter, fuel and oil temp are all permanently and max when driving and the Water temp is the only dial that appears correct.

There also something mental going on with the milage readout its go up to 560000 and since every 20 metres counts as a mile, done 80k in 400 miles lol
Anyone know what could cause this?

I have tried pulling out and re inserting the big silver fuse for the dash and no luck

Yep, also check the large round plug on the nearside inner wing for corrosion. Thumbs up

Ok cool. If the battery woukd knackered i woukd notice in someother way though surely?. Slow start etc? Which leads me to think earths are the only culprit

Nope nackered battery does all sorts depending on the amps being produced increases in resistance etc

Voltage may still be 12v when messured but resistance and amps will be way off
The effects can be increased or decreased especially when passing power through coils

If the car is starting and running fine, the battery will most likely be sound.

If a battery is knackered you will notice other issues first.
This will be a connection problem, most likely dodgy earth or corroded connection in the round plug as I said before.
