anyone got a fuel rail going? had to do an emergency repair on mine using two nails when the clip disappeared at the side of the road so mine isn't sealing tight anymore!

posted please unless local and as usual ASAP

Which clip do you mean? FPR?

I'll probably have a rail I will check...

yeah the FPR clip itself vanished, thus fuel spewed everywhere and i had to do a true pikey roadside repair utilising a DIY shop, a bag of 1000 nails and a hammer.. as below..

therefore, the cutout for the clip to go in is now too wide and even when tapping it back together the FPR is rattling around inside so either that's damaged or the metal rail itself.. easier to just swap it over

thanks but i'd rather just get any old one and get it running again, not in a major rush but if you're willing to actually sell it i'd probably buy it and collect tomorrow, price dependent!?

absolutely no idea, i've got photos of the engine bay when i was working on it for something else and the securing clip is present. thing is, the clip has a circular profile so it shouldn't be able to come out?!

That is a proper pikey repair... does the job though!

I have a fuel rail here, £20 delivered.

PM if you want it, I can post 1st class tomorrow, so should be with you Tuesday.

Cheers
Rich
