Hi Folks
I'm after a pair of front subframe cups and bolts in vgc please.
Mine were rusted to hell, and one of the bolts broke as well..

Let me know if you can help.
Cheers

Yep on every 306 but nearly all rotten most bolts break unless you heat n treat before removal
Best get the old diox c out and the shot blaster

Ian doesnt need the bolts,..
Id buy new anyway,... but he wrecked the cups before I could tell him you cant get them any more! LOL
Get to a scrappy with impact sockets and a huge breaker bar so that the bolt gives before anything else!

That's what I'm thinking Dave, but most scrappers are on their belly in my local yard, so getting under there is a no-go unless a lot has been stripped off them. It seems they're all pretty crusty at this age..

Any leads on new ones would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

even on their belly its easy to get them out, dont need to lift the car off the subframe, remove the bolts and tap them out of the gap

In all seriousness, I have another pair in the Rallye at the mo that I cleaned up and zinc plated. I need a pair to reattach the subframe to move it but would be willing to come to some arrangement with me having your old ones as part of the deal.
