well, apart from mapping from what I recall, but yes a bit sneaky calling it an SB engine!

last 2.2 XU sandy did was 280bhp iirc.

around 12-14k, but that's from filter to tailpipe afaik, I'd bet a more current one would be a bit more bhp seeing as his 2.0's are around that easily now.

Agree Mei ....he's using separate Coil packs & some more trick stuff & said on my first rebuild he recons with some changes my engine has 10bhp to come plus more & better mid range ..but that's still telephone nos .....

Don't forget mines 286 now LOL .....

Sandy said ...Colin Satchells last blue 205 hill climber Engine was similar to mine but all lower down power....his new ones going to be over just on or just over 300 rumour has it ...depending on who you listen to Big grin

rods £600
pistons £500.
valve springs £300.
cams £460.
bearings seals belt kit water pump £200.

labour for machining work would be around £200 i think.

bolt it together yourself maybe 2.5k.

£ Good mapping & ECU for 8 injectors ?
