Best to let you all know, I recently bought an expensive sensor from ECP and a cheap rubbish unbranded version turned up.

Now when I rang them about this the bloke on the phone said I had to go to a 'local' depot and drop it back for a re-fund.
Not only was this miles away but took half my bloody afternoon.

When in there, the guy behind the counter said if they didn't have the part advertised, they send out the next best thing.
So basically, if you do buy from ECP make sure they actually have what you ordered in stock!

Thumbs down

standard fare for any parts retailer and very visible on the website.

4.7 All Goods supplied by us are subject to availability. We reserve the right in the event that we cannot supply you with the Goods that you have ordered, to supply you with substitute goods of equivalent or matching quality. In the event that you do not accept such substitute goods, we shall arrange and be responsible for the cost of collecting such substituted goods from you; subject to the goods being in the condition as provided at clause 5.3.2 and 16.1.3.

so yeah, you didn't have to go out of your way to send them back, they would have collected for free.

I bought 2 heater matrix from them. Both had a hole in. They were cheap as chips but obviously s**te quality. Went to SC's in the end and that one was fine.

SC's is who I use in Kent, they've always been good for me.

Gave up on ECP and GSF a long time ago, apart from random s**t like blue towel.
