Very good point iv not checked the earths, are they in the same place on a ph2 6 as the diesel?

Thats also something i need to do stan, hopefully the fuel pump is ok. quick question are the fuel pumps different on the 6 compared to lower spec 306's i.e. 1.4s and things. Because i know some one thats scrapping a 306 i think its a 1.4 or 1.6 so if need be il take the pump out of that 306 if there the same?

1.4 is different, I believe most types of 1.6 upwards are the same but best grab the vin and check to be precise, or look up the number on the bare unit itself and compare it to the git6 one.

Update, Its fixed and running great again. Got rid of some wiring going to the rear near central locking and cleaned up the earths, and made sure the battery had full charge and she fired up first turn of the key. Smile
