Hi folks, I recently had the dash out to do the matrix and once I'd put it back together the clock kept losing its memory each time the ignition was turned off. After a quick check I found that the relevant 5A fuse was blown but after replacing it the ignition no longer turns off even with key out of the barrel. After a search I saw some other posts suggesting that the rear wiper relay could be involved but there was no change to the situation with it disconnected.
Anyone got any suggestions as to why the clock fuse is doing this?

check you have plugged all the plugs back in the correct holes,
sounds like you may have swapped one or plugged into a spare somewhere

Cheers Cully. I'm pretty sure it's all plugged back together properly. Didn't see many opportunities for mixing plugs up as they're all unique. Everything else works as it did before. I just have the issue with fuse 25.

Has your car had a third party security system removed at some point perhaps youve damaged a wire or old join somewhere in the loom

For the ignition not to turn off the circuit must still be complete somewhere! bolted a spare wire to an earth perhaps
