I ran pilot Sport 2=225/40/17s on 30mm drop on my Diect fit Mo5s in the early days & they hit my inner wall pan both sides & caught my 6 speed box badly ...but you run a 5speed ?
They never had enough side wall movement for me personally ...Thumbs down

The more grip & more chances of breaking that new box or Diff or driveshafts ....205s for my Minimal 293 N/A is perfect it's going to break the weakest point with too much grip

Has anyone actually done a best fit spread sheet for gear boxes for the 6?
IE ratios from other boxes etc and final drives?

I dont need to do 130 on a private strip in 6th, but it might be nice to do that in 5th at the right rpm?

In my 6 with a 6speed box & 205/50/16 tyres with 4.75 Bacci Romani Crownwheel & pinion @ 8500rpm I'm doing 126 max in 5th ...never really use 6th on track yet ?

without spending bug money you wont get any other gear ratios for a gti6 box, you can get a final drive though.
