Cost depends on spec of cage. He'll make it out of CDS or T45 afaik. You'd be best off PM'ing him with a list of what you want and material for a better idea on price.
The cage he did on my car is one of the best things I've done to the car, stiffened it up no end!

You can have more or less, he'll do it to your spec's.

Mine started as a basic 6 point cage but i decided to keep on adding extras whilst it was there to save having more added at a later date.
As you can see i went for door x bars, rear x, harness bars, roof bar, dash bar and also had the strut tops tied in. By default i think Phil always ties them in to the beam mounting points. I also had bracing to the A and B pillars.

This thread is the mother and father of threads on 306 maxi's.
It's a french forum charting all the comp cars up to present day. It's 128 pages so make a brew before you sit down. Lots of pics along the way; might point you in the right direction. P82 is good one for a cage pic

I wouldn't worry about making the cage exactly like that you find in old pictures, there were quite a few variances as they're all custom made almost one-offs built to meet certain regs at the time.

if you want to actually use the car as intended get yourself a copy of the fia or msa rollcage regs and get someone to build to them.

As per Mei saying I've had 2 people ask for a quote on Maxi cages previously - one issue is that the tube diameters of the originals doesn't match current MSA/FIA specs unless you can find a copy of the original homologation certificates/designs - I've got an old scrutineer on the hunt for those at the moment - the second is I've seen at least 2 variations on the 'Maxi' cage competing - one of which would definately need tubes moving if you're intending on racing it to current MSA/FIA specs and going on the Blue Book regs, the other might be close enough to just fettle with the tube sizes.

If you're not racing, or we can get the original cage homologation to replicate, then it's not an issue of course. Or I can do one that's as close as possible but still to current regs - in all likelyhood nobody would notice anyway LOL
