have had this car along time, bought it in 2007 from a doctor friend of mine who owned it since 2001 and the last few years its done no miles, I have serviced it since it came out of warranty, it had cam belt and waterpump before last mot and only miles since have been moving in the car park and returning from mot station, its on good tyres and standard wheels, interior is excellent except alcantara on drivers base all the leather and carpets no damage, probably done less than 6000mls in boosted form, retains the aircon, and has electric power steering fitted and switchable, really only need to use it for parking, gives better feel on the road imho, boost pipes go around the rad not under and undertray still fitted,no cutting or mods to the body or frame,

will try to get some pictures up, but if your near or in the area come and have a look and a listen.

its got a ding in the drivers wing and the doors caught it as its opened, have a wing to go on but it will need some paint.
genuine old car, never had any welding and does'nt need any doing, its always been maintained with quality parts and lubricants and has been running royal purple since its been boosted

Get yourself a photo bucket account and add them to that. Then once they are on there copy the IMG code and paste into here. Simple as that.

couple of photos from when it all happened, note the shiney bits, and a few from today, out of the carpark, into the workshop dirt cobwebs and all and a few shots with a crappy phone camera, but it gives you an idea, may give it a clean tomorrow if the hail stops, and take some better pictures,as you can see in the picture its parked next to a pit, so a good look underneath aint a problem ! Cool

Its been a good car to me, had the stainless mandrel bent at a garage in dobwalls cornwall, bloke was a genius with tubes, did one off and custom stuff for not a lot of money,no longer trading, spend all my time running around in my van, working, if I was going to get another car I wouldn't,I would keep the 6, it does'nt get used and it should, if its dry and i'm not working the sp3 comes out to play! car did a shade under 280 on the rollers after it was done and run in, not to shabby, and if i could drive and ride at the same time not sure the bike would lose the car (on a private airfield)

lot of time spent optimising the cam timing, furthar tweaking of the tune and a good engine to start with I think, the original run with no mods at all out the box was 262 dont think the rollers were over optomistic but didn't do a pre boosted run so no real base line to go from, end of the day its only numbers,at the time was more interested in the fueling bieng correct and not putting a hole in a piston, guy from skip browns had a play when jane had the car not sure what she had done but standard it was much better than a few others I'd driven, always thought the brakes awsome as std, looking down the road a bit tends to help! track days would probably make me think otherwise maybe

Well, have given the motor a good wash today and been looking at it with my car traders eyeball and not my "I've put loads of work into that" one, put it up for £3800 first instance, and to be honest with myself £3200 is what its worth, will let it run on here for a few days, probably take it down to manhiems later in the week, its only 400 yards down the road, and a few know the car which in this instance is a good thing, there is a few bits of laquer peel that wern't there last year and a few marks from the carpark, may have a go at some of it today, after I finish the trucks.

shame it looks decent. I want the mandrel bends and intercooler for mine haha. If I hadn't spent so much on mine already I'd buy it I'd love a black one.

Don't get rid just yet Calvin. I'm considering it. And only live in Exeter. You got any better pics to tempt me down? How many owners? Mileage? Underbody? I feel bad not having had a 306 for a few years!

3 owners including me, 80,000 mls, no rust to speak of anywhere under or on top drivers wing is the dented one, was going to take some more photo's but weird bits happened when I did the bucket thing, trojans and wormy things froze my laptop, and phone and camera that were plugged into it still being sorted out, deep joy! exeters only an hour away, bacon butty would tempt me down, I feel bad having one and not using it, but i'm typing this with grubby mitts, says it all really

I went to use Photobucket during the week, all I can say is I'm glad I did it on the work machine and not my own! I work in our Sutton Harbour office every couple of weeks so the journey is no biggie. Need to shift my Megane 225 though which will never happen before Christmas. As I said to Martin re: his Rallye, I do have the cash, space (and wife is the issue).

Doubt I'm down this week, but next week more than likely. I'll drop you a line if you've still got it. I'm a proper (sad?) 306 man [6 and counting] so don't flog it to a chav.

Had a motor trader in this week, was going well until he mentioned turning it into a track car, told him to go and buy a shell and start from there, too much like taking the dog to a Filipino vet, but I suppose no control over what happen's after the money changes hands, just got to make sure he doesn't send another trader around, lots of clean strong straight shells end up on track, then get bent and f**ked !

Agreed. If I took it it would be my daily for 12m until I'm due company car. Then it'd be for the weekends and keeping as standard as possible. In my eyes it's the later equivalent of the 205 turbo technics cars.
