Yeh i was going to buy new ones but something like eibach are about £120. And my plan is to get some bilsteins but dont have the money at the minute. So just wanted some lowering springs. Especially as im stripping bits out of the car is has raised up a fair bit lol.

Ok cool cool. Thats annoying lol. Got some lowering springs coming now. And the bilsteins are gunna have to wait a bit longer as i noticed to the other day a cluncking/knock from the beam. So looks like im going to have to rebuild the beam before i get anything else now. Sad

Make sure it's not the beam mounts first. My beam knocks like f**k but it's just the mounts Thumbs up

Most likely beam mounts but if there's a lot camber and most likely squeaking it'll be the beam.

I didnt think about the mounts, very good point. It will only knock every so often if i hit a bump in the road. But rarely do i hear anything, so do you guys reckon thats more mounts that beam.
And on another note of sounds not sure if its beam related and tryed searching on hear but couldnt find anything, but from time to time again only now and then i hear what sounds like brake squeal coming from the rear passenger side when im going round a left hand conrer but im not braking. ths is also the side that i hear knock from time to time. Thats mainly why i thought beam. but could be seperate things.

Rear calipers love to cause trouble. I replaced mine but still do not seem to like handbrake on, so I never use handbrake unless necessary, park in gear etc. Just got all calipers freed off and greased to alleviate issues.

My beam was OK 4 years ago but mounts shot after having knocking symptoms you describe. Replaced them with new OE mounts and all good since. But am getting a new beam now anyway.

Knackered beam may also show excessive camber, rubbing on arch liners, noises and other symptoms people on here may be able to tell you about.

I park mine up over winter to help minimise these issues as salt gets everywhere.
