Looking to replace all of the front end brake pipes, has anyone had experience with these kits on ebay?

no experience and looks a bit pricy for me but if youre not happy making up your own ends this could be ideal its good pipe also

I just flaired my own and formed them best I could they look fine,..
as said if your happy to pay the money their asking go for it!
it'll probably cost the same in tools and copper pipe and fittings Wink

Which flarer would you recommend?

I bought one last year but the small die broke on the first attempt, ended up borrowing a 1960's vice mounted one from a bloke at work but he has since retired, looking at over £100 for a similar one.

I'd recommend that sykes picavant one pictured, they still make the same one these days.

keep an eye on ebay, when bought new you had the option of buying with all the dies or just the few you think you'll need.

I bought a powerhand PH-BFT-316 from the bay and it's done me well, about 32quid, I've repiped the rear end on without trouble

That's the one I use if its a sealey one?
great bit of kit! Will flair steel too no problem but best have some practice 1st so you know where to place everything for the perfect flair everytime Wink

This ones made by 'franklin tools', never heard of them! Give it a go this weekend..

Got one of those hand held ones for flaring pipes which are attached to the car which doesn't happen that often. Worked a treat for what it cost.

Also have a sykes master kit vice mounted etc. Perfect every time invaluable bit of kit.
