A mate of mine is considering 'charging his gti6, so he asked me to keep an eye out if anyone has a 'charger and fitting kit or he'd even consider buying a 'charged car then removing the 'charger and selling the car on n/a if the price is right.
I don't think he's too bothered about an intercooler as he wants to route the pipework around the front end rather than under the crossmember, but if an intercooler is included im sure it wouldnt be too much of an issue.

I thought i'd stick this thread up incase anyone has what he desires but hasnt got round to putting up a for sale thread yet. Thumbs up

I think he wants a complete setup, despite midlife's being a good deal you've then got to factor in the price of a new charger which he's wanting to avoid.

He did suggest the possibility of me replicating my kit and having an m62 but to be honest there's way too much custom machining required for an identical copy of my kit to make a one-off viable.
If I build a lower compression engine I might consider moving up to an m90, but I still have a bit of scope with my m62 with smaller pullies once I'm happy everything is reliable as ive got it set up now.

I'm not sure how long my engine would last with the abuse i give it at 0.8 bar, or the gearbox for that matter LOL
What sort of power and torque are you producing with that much boost?

I'm thinking of following suit with the vxr injectors then getting the map tweaked and also get the mapper to do me two extra maps, one for each of my other pullies then i can chop and change boost levels relatively easily.
The first step is getting mine back in one piece though Doh LOL
