For Sale.

Mitsubishi Shogun SWB 3.2 DID 'Equippe' RARE manual gearbox.

*** Fresh 12 months MOT until 03/10/2017 and booked in for full service oil/ fuel/ air filter 04/10/2016 ***

UK model from new, not an import so cheaper to insure.

This is the nicer Equippe spec model with brushed aluminium trim. 3.2 4cyl diesel engine has 160 bhp and 275 lb/ft of torque.

Aircon, cruise control, large electric tilt/slide sunroof, electric windows/ mirrors, power steering. Sony CD radio with aux in.

Towbar with electics pack. Only used a couple of times to tow a horse trailer so no heavy loads. These are known to be great tow vehicles if thats your thing.

Registered September 2003 on '53' plate. Only two owners from new, my wife has owned the Shogun since 2007 when it had 20k on the clock. It is now on 153k. It has always been on Anglesey.

Ultra reliable and really does drive like a car half its mileage. Has been used by my wife for the past 9 years on her daily 40 mile commute. Surprisingly economical for the engine size, comfortably does 34mpg on short journeys and pushes 40mpg on a run.

Due to new rules, buyer would have to tax on purchase. Good news is this is the cheaper tax bracket (£295 per year) compared to the £400+ newer models.

Good matching 16ins Yokohama Geolandar tyres all round, plenty of tread.

We have every MOT paper from its first to verify mileage. The Shogun has been serviced anually every MOT time by our local Mechanic. Unfortunately we have only part service history to evidence this, as paperwork has been mislaid over the years. Any test drives (with proof of insurance) or inspections are however welcome as the engine/ gearbox and other mechanicals are in first order.

HPI clear. All handbooks present and 2 x sets of keys. These engines are designed with a timing chain - so no cambelt intervals to worry about. Uses no oil or water between services.

Faults. The fuel gague is intermittent -
common fault on these - usually the sender. We just keep it toped up. The Shogun will come with half a tank of diesel. Slight tear at back of rear seat in boot area where our spaniel Henri decided to have a nibble. The remainder of the interior is really clean - never smoked in, drivers seat excellent.

Externally she is very tidy. Cleans up lovely in the silver, looks better than the twin tone. No nasty scratches or dents, just stone chips to the bonnet that I've touched in (japanese paint notoriously thin) and a few minor marks here and there commesurate with mileage. Ive just given her a full polish and wax. Looks great.

These things are bullet proof and will happily do 300k when looked after (as this one has)

Regretable sale, however needs must due to recently having our first child meaning we need something with 5 doors, isofix and a larger boot!

Any questions or viewings are welcome from genuine buyers. Car is located at LL68 postcode, Anglesey

Tel: 07917 344475

£3,250 ovno.

Thanks for looking,

Gwyn
