This back box is £240 from the dealers. The quality is shocking.

If you really want it you can get it for £78 off Amazon HERE

The defects on mine.

Bad weld coming away.

Hanger almost broken.

Crack in the skin that leaks.

And finaly the flange welded at the wrong angle.

When trying to return it last week the parts man told me to fit it then take it to the service department for them to deal with it as a warranty claim. The service department said if the box was ok I'd be charged £80 and hour for time. What a joke.

Spent the best part of an hour arguing this box is not fit for purpose this morning.

Yeah it had a eurorepar label on and it's made by Veneporte.

What's this eurorepar company about?

Jeez, my very average Klarius back box is better than that (though there is some droning when going down a hill off the throttle so a baffle might be loose in there). Last time I bought a water pump the dealer offered me a lower-priced alternative version ("for cars over 5 years old" I think he said) or the normal one.

I won't be getting any of their alternative parts ever again. I think it says cars older than 3 years on servicebox.
