Yeah that's the price I found. I'll use the rotors then depending on my cash flow at the time they need replacing I may buy more or make a bracket so I can run the 305mm 406 coupe disc

Fiat Punto EVO Disc goes on with the pendulumn bracket if the pcd is redrilled and the centre bore taken out, Niall on the OC did it.

weigh a fecking ton mind, about the same as the 406 disc but have more offset so you'll have a chance of bolting more wheels over them.

yeah renault brembo's don't tent to squeal at all, probably due to being a much stiffer monoblock design.

I would imagine you could pick up a similar setup to my hi-specs around 350-400, i run C4 VTS discs (g88's) and DS2500's

The issue you have (as i've found) is you need to go in with your eyes open, my discs were £200 or so from memory which is fine, but the pads are £150 ish and i've done a set in 3 track days! (just upgraded to DS3000's)

Looks like you need a bigger caliper with those discs. I guess they work ok like that...

the whole reason the welly designed the brackets for the wilwoods to fit is because of how cheap the discs and pads are to replace as he was doing lots of track days and they also give fantastic stopping power. my genuine brembo discs were £38 and the ds2500 pads were £70

My discs and pads have lots of life left and have done probably 8+ trackdays and 15-20 laps of the nordschleife. Rotors were circa £400 and pads around £250.
If you can get them give carbotech xp8 pads a try, not managed to kill them yet and they've had a lot of abuse, 40+ mins on track at cadwell both when n/a and supercharged.
False economy buying cheap discs and pads if they only last three trackdays in my eyes.

I use Carbotech XP8s in the race car and they last for a whole race season. That's 7 races and about 5 trackdays / test days which I think is near enough 1100 hard track miles.
