You held on them for me? I would rather not have to refurb them etc to get them fitted. I read somewhere people do not rate them that highly but I am not sure if that's BS

Any good?

Fully refurbished, rebuilt and freshly powder coated. G88 discs and DS2500 pads. Done 15 miles since being fitted.

spend 160 on good pads and 20 on good fluid, should be enough.

As Mei said, you'll not get much of an upgrade with that budget IMO.

As above i got some mintex pads off here

http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=159684 with standard discs which cant fault for the money. I am awaiting a set of 4 pots though but 2nd hand but are more than £350

Only other option may be the wilwood brackets group buy on here which you would still need calipers so prob end up closer to £4-500 in the end

Not yet as I've been away and then super busy at work!

Surely I could pick up a set for that, I have seen Wilwoods and Hi Specs out for sale around that sort of price? I was kind of hoping someone had some old kit around...

You might be able to pick up some Wilwoods or something for £350 but most likely it'll be 406 Brembos. The 310mm RS kit goes for £450 upwards normally, mine will probably be for sale in a couple of months.

Yeh I did look at the group buy but totalling it up:

Brackets £125, Calipers £400ish, Discs £80, Pads £50

The discs and pads are a complete guess. I'm trying to stick to a budget I have set....Thumbs down

For your budget, the 406 brembo's are realisticly your only option. Up your budget another £100 and you will have much more choice.

I've got a set of 406 brembos in red with braided lines fitted to them pagid pads and discs
They do squeal though and the only way to stop it would be worth Tarrox G88 discs. But I'm only after £100 + postage.
