Beam would have probly need to be changed soon anyway. Pull the dent out would look a bit crap but would keep it on the road and still worth something.

These sort of things are very disheartening and a lot of us have had these sorts of things happen. Years ago I had two people damage a car of mine in three weeks (incompetence not vandalism) and neither left a note. B@stards.

I really hope you fix it. As stated it would have needed a new beam soon anyway.

I would say to the farmer that £50 doesn't cut it and how about he pays half the bill and take it out of t he farm hand's wages!

£50 WTF ! Tell him to go fourth mate, he's 'arvin a larf! i think the situation isn't being helped by the fact that its half stripped and looks a bit sad (no offense) If it had been a full road going car i think he may have offered more? either way you need to make him understand how rare these are and just how bad the extent of the damage is. If he still doesn't up his offer, set fire to his tractor, and drop a plop or 2 in his wellies! Hope you get sorted mate.

Don't want to rock the boat like you say it's a stripped out old Peugeot. I'm not convinced it's worth saving now I'm afraid

Well it's your car Chris, i understand where you're coming from - bloody shame though mate. Hopefully you can sell it on as is rather than it being stripped/scrapped.

Haha it's already been stripped, it took me 3 weeks to get it water tight, refitting the windows finding pop rivers for the door winders managed to track down all the interior and now it's worst than when I got it :-(

My v6 is also due back and that's where it's normally parked so I think this will go so I am clear a space inside for the v6 so that's not damaged because that's got too many multi coloured panels has it is lol
