Hi all,

As some of you have seen I'm looking for a good quality OE looking exhaust.

Now that the original system is no longer available what's the closest system to the OE available?

I've read on hear a few people mention Klarius PG513T but the tip is slightly different.

Are there any photos of this system on a car as all I can find are drawings of the unit.

What else is worth getting?

I've not seen an exit on a stainless system I like and I hear the sound on a stainless system isn't that good as I'd like a quiet system.

I thought Bosal were meant to be a quality manufacture but after getting a full system for my Dturbo I was very disappointed.

The chrome tip started to rust straight away and there were restrictions were the pipe went into the boxes. I wasn't happy at all with the system.

I've got a Klarius rear box mated to OE centre section on mine and it looks very close to OE. No complaints with it, had it for 5 years now (though was replaced under warranty when centre box self-destructed).

I'm sure a fabricator could replicate the chrome tip for you and weld it on to the aftermarket version of the OE system without the tip of your choice.

...and hardly any cheaper than OE was at the time, as I found out later. So not worth it if OE is available.

OE is not available though.

The 1726FN that's available on servicebox is close to OE but sadly missing the chrome end.

The box from the dealers is £220 but it doesn't have the chrome end.

The crap patten from the dealers is £245 but it's available on Amazon for £80.

Can't you cut the chrome end off the current box, polish it up and get it welded onto the current OE box?

I would have done this if the box on the car was the original.

This was my plan when I replaced the one on my Dturbo years ago but dad chucked ithe box not realising I was meant to cut the tip off.

Have you tried Ryan / Pug306 for a used back box or full system?

I have a Klarius mid section and back box on my car at the moment and I would definitely not recommend it, actually I hate the system so much it kinds of puts me off driving the car. Oh and the chrome tip on the Klarius system looked nice at first, but fell off after driving the car for 50 miles and is currently sitting in my boot.

I will get an OEM system soon (as soon as I can afford it really) and will probably give/bin the Klarius system. My plan is to then go to a Powerflow specialist and get a chrome pipe welded in (I enquired and they said they could do it, they charge £45/hr).

Do you know which model it was as there are two. The one above which is around £140 and the other PG467K is around £80.

I've heard horror stories about Klarius systems before and I was surprised to see some people recommend them on here. I'm guessing there more expensive ones might be better but that is only a guess.

That rules out all Peugeot parts men I've come across. If it's not no the shelf they whine about getting it in.

Would you mind asking them if the 1726N0 is the part number for the rear box with chrome tip and if 171772 the OE centre section are still available?

I've had the middle section on order since July with a due date of last week.
