Mocinim, is the leather you use of a glossy finish or is it due to the flash in the picture? I found a picture of an apparently new gear knob in matt evans Astor OEM project thread and the leather on it is rather matte.

Yes chap my knobs are slightly more glossy but not as glossy as the pics show
They did originally come in slightly different shades i believe i have three different shades from worn originals (or did have)
And have now produced two slightly different shades myself

My package arrived in the week so I fitted it on Saturday morning.

I managed to fit it with ease, it is lovely and snug and looks awesome! Thanks very much, really appreciate it.

Thats the one it marks out well but i pin every hole once marked and before stitching otherwise you tend to loose the holes ?
