So here i have for sale my 306 Rallye - there was only ever 500 of these made and is now less than 100 registered in the uk.

I purchased this car 2 years ago with the intention of turning it into a 306 maxi look alike, I've spent 2 years and over £7000 getting the car to the point its at now, i no longer have the time to spend getting the car finished.

The car drives and runs well - i currently use it twice a week to get to work, most of the money spent is on the exterior so the engine hasn't had a lot of attention - although i put a new engine in a year ago which had only done 85,000 miles, it has had a recent service but as its a 19year old car it will need some TLC. Have also just had a new petrol tank and new front discs and pads fitted, just passed the MOT with only 1 minor advisory.

The interior has been stripped out and some sound proofing installed so its not to loud, its ready to have a roll cage fitted and then the inside sprayed, it has black sparko seats and 4 point red harnesses.

(the OMP steering wheel shown in pics is not part of the sale and i will be re fitting the standard one).

I purchased a body kit and had the car resprayed using UK Car dip - The body kit, spray and fitting was over 3k on its own, i have brought and fitted the rally stickers as seen in the pictures.

I also had some wheel spacers specially made for the back costing around £200 as i couldn't find any wide enough for the body kit installed.

please email me on sgardener22@live.co.uk

The car is sold as seen with no warranties or returns, the car is advertised elsewhere so i reserve the right to end early.

With the amount of money spent i will not be accepting any silly offers please use the auction - No reserve and very low starting bid to get the ball rolling.

Thanks for looking

It was only listed as a starting bid of £2000 on ebay to attract interest etc. the hope was it would sell for a lot more.

To me the car is worth what I have spent but sadly as we all know this doesn't happen - I still think £3200 is to cheap but its hard to get a good indication of value.

Yes side indicators rear number plate lights fitted and all welding work done as well, the garage have told me the car is now mint - but as advert says engine needs some TLC, I had a engine in the process of being rebuilt to put back in but haven't had the time or money to get this part of the project done.

To be honest ill be gutted selling it after the amount of time and effort gone in (everyone says that so didn't put in advert haha)

Thanks - just hope it sells to the right person.

Not really, The money spent on her is done now but the honest truth is I haven't got the money to continue - 2 kids now and new house so no spare money to spend out.

if I keep it, it will just in the garage and with time money etc. gone in it seems like a waste.

If I don't half a decent amount for it I will end up just keeping as it wouldn't be worth selling.

I have seen these sell for 10k plus (once the engine suspension etc. are all upgraded) in other words a full finished maxi replica

What kit is fitted, as that isn't a Maxi or Dimma front bumper?

Its a wide body kit very similar to the dimmer - cost around £1k - the arches (front and back) are the same as the dimmer but yes the front bumper is different to the dimmer kit.

The body kit is a lightweight fibreglass and came with front wings rear qtr panels skirts and both front and rear bumpers - it's a direct replacement kit so the old wings etc. Removed and the new kit fitted.
The rear qtr panels are obviously not replacements the arches have been cut out and then rolled and the new panels fibreglased on.

I brought some 20mm spacers - the ones that bolt into the hub and then the wheels bolts into the spacer. The rear are the same but need to be 60mm so had to have those specially made - both done by the same company.
