Guys,

What is the little clip type thing on the front calipers? As seen in this pic, slightly below and to the right of the '57' on the caliper.

Service box doesn't show them as a separate part so assume they come with the caliper. Looking at it, I'm guessing they are a holder for the pad wear sensor wire?

Cheers Mei, thought it would be that!

Question is then where do the pad wires plugs plug in? Couldn't see anything on my hub's etc and the current calipers and pads don't appear to have the wires

Does this help. They plug in just below the brake hose on the hub.

It does. I think it also explains a couple of things.

Almost certain the Rallye hasn't got these. Both of the ones I've had didn't have them.

Don't know why they made the pads with them for the Rallye if they had nothing to plug into.....

No idea, not looked into it properly yet.

Service box does show pads with sensor wires.....i guess they would bother making another pad without the wires for a low production number run such as the Rallye..

I'll have a look at my old pads when I get home.

Yep the top bolt was a bit stuck lol It was difficult trying to get the bolt undone as the slider kept rotating.

The pads on my Dturbo 266mm system come with wear sensors but the car doesn't have the wear indicator system. The wires are just cut off.
