So what with my Ph1 being charged and 75% track prepped i needed something else for work. I've been looking at 205's for ages and just missed one at the weekend. Anyway, this car came up on FB and the guy eventually accepted my offer so a 450mile round trip later and i am a proud owner of this fine machine;

She needs a bit of work and some money spent but hopefully we can bring her back to former glory Smile

Had an early day this week so I took the rallye to Armzs16 for an inspection. Not great news. It has had some welding done (no surprise on a rallye) but it was done to a poor standard so will try twisting Aaron6's arm to come over and replace the s**tty bits and any other bits that need a patch. It has a little knock coming from o/s/f. Looks like that's a wheel bearing. Steering ram boot has no clip. A power steering pipe is rubbing so it's leaking fluid. Slight oil leak possibly from rear rocker seal. There's a few screws missing and wrong screws used so these will all get replaced. Rear brake light has dropped and clips broke. Gear knob has no leather. Clock is upside down. O/s/f indicator blown. So I have a few jobs to do.

On the plus side, I've got a mate coming over in the morning to mop the paint. Hopefully he will refurb the cyclones for me as I've just bought a new set of Avon Zv7's for it. Pics to follow after the mop Smile

Spent a bit of time on this last week. Got a mate over with his mop (and polisher Wink

) gave the paint a good going over. Also got rid of those hideous lights. Much better. Fitted some aero blades and bought a new set of tyres ready for its wheel refurb. Just got to swap the tints out now Smile
