Im in the middle of reshelling my 6.

The interior and the engine and running gear are off.

Obviously, I'm going to rust treat and rust prevent the underside and engine bay and put in new brake lines.

Ill also be powder coating the subframe, front panel, front ARB and all the other little brackets Ive disassembled from the donor car.

Are there any little hints or tips that I can gather up maybe before I put everything back on the shell?

The car will be a road car through and through, ultimately getting a high boost SC engine.

Cheers

Jon

Yep not massive but !! for stiffness although the vts subframe is built stiffer and appears identical with regards to all other fitments so id try this instead if i was re shelling for track

I had mine seam welded - seemed to stiffen the front end up under hard cornering. I liked it.
