This is more of a heads up

For years the thread in the alloy block has been gradually stripping
Allowing oil to escape and make a mess at the back of the engine!

I had to look it up but used a Sealey thread repair kit
Which just involves drilling out very carefully re-tapping
Screwing in a threaded coil and allowing you to put your original
M6 1mm pitch thread bolt back in good as new!

Here's a few helpful pix

The bolt here could just be pushed in and out

Masked off the cams to make sure no burs end up in the engine

If you've never tapped a thread before make sure you're dead strait
Turn slowley you'll feel it cut
Turn about a quarter/harf turn and back up taking your time! And blowing out the burs

Then screw in your coil using tool provided
The bar can be proken off once in place!

And in it goes good as new! If this helps just 1 person
I'll be happy

I paid about £16 for mine,.. You can get them for £4 or there about but this was something not worth skimping on

nice work, worth bearing in mind that the torque setting for these is quite low.

The bolt was like slinging a sausage down a hallway so I had nothing to loose it doesn't need to be tight to be honest just enough to asert enough pressure to stop oil getting out!

Nicely done extra tip using a magnet to complete delicate work areas is also advised

Its an alloy head I don't think a Magnet would work?
