It's not a 306 it's in a 406 coupe. My dad has a 406 coupe and the Windows do as they please up an down stay down can't them back up. Any body experienced this problem or similar ?

Do you mean you can't get them up if they've been down and vice versa? Start by pulling the switches out, crack them open and clean the contacts inside. Dirty switch contacts are the most common reason for this to happen.

Water in the door wiring switches or damage in the door jam gaitor check your wiring then your switches chap

Yer sounds a good start. It started with one door then I think the other has started doing it. Will try take a look at the weekend see if we get anywhere
