Hi Guys,

After doing some major engine work with RichW, we discovered that my cam covers built in gaskets are all broken and have bits missing.

so, looking for some intact and good condition cam covers with intact gaskets!

Anyone have any? Big grin

Cheers

the gaskets were only ever available as part of the cover. Don't ask me why though.

RTV sealant is generally regarded as the way to reseal. Do a search for 'cam cover' and there are several threads discussing the best way to do this.

Just had a look at those, they say that they only work if the original gaskets are intact! just for use if they are not sealing correctly!

I've got some cam covers, rear seal was leaking so I changed it for a refurbed set. Bit of a clean up and some RTV and I reckon they'll be alright
