Hi all. Ive wanted to build an ideal commute car for a long time now and since i will have enough driveway space, i think its time to make it happen. The 205 is a nimble, lightweight banger with a comfy interior as standard. Coupled with an Hdi lump from the 306 which can already see 60mpg+, i think the combination could make for an interesting mix of economy and performance if necessary.
I was just curious to know if anyone had already done this engine swap and what i might need to watch out for... Cheers in advance Thumbs up

Try over on 306oc, I'm sure there's a couple who have done this conversion.

Has been done by quite a few people. Best bet to have a look on the 205 forums.
I have been in a couple and they definitely go very well.
Would love a stealthy 5 door one on steels.

its a pretty straightforward conversion, wiribg is much like a gti6 conversion, they go into a gti a bit easier as the olumbing and wiring is closer to what you need.
