Hi all,

Just thought I'd say a hello to you all.

I became a member in 2003 and I've been checking in every now and again on peoples projects but I never became a paid member.

I've still got my Diablo red HDI Dturbo that I've had since new that's now got 330k miles on it but last week I bought a China blue '6.

I've wanted one every since they came out and I only went for the Dturbo because of the miles I was driving.

The car I bought was advertised as spares or repair as it failed its MOT on the below;

Reason(s) for failure
Parking brake: efficiency below requirements (3.7.B.7)
Exhaust emissions carbon monoxide content after 2nd fast idle excessive (7.3.D.3)
offside front Tyre tread depth below requirements of 1.6mm (4.1.E.1)
Headlamp aim too high both (1.8)
Parking brake lever has no reserve travel o/s cable failed during test **NO PARK BRAKE** (3.1.6Cool

I've fitted a new cable when I went to pay for it and tomorrow I'll be fitting new plugs, lambda and cat to get it through the emissions. I'll also be sticking the spare on.

I would think that some of you might have seen it on eBay?

I can't wait to get it home and get all the bits sorted on it.

It's the color that polishes up the best. I'd post some shiney ones of mine but don't really wanna thread hijack or picky hord.
Looks good though. So what sort of condition is the HDI dturbo in now then? Your derv ones has twice the mileage on as my wife's one!!

Feel free to post away, sounds like a good reason to show off how good they polish up Thumbs up

My girlfriends 206 is china to. To make things cheaper she's away for 3 weeks so I've taken her car off the road, swap her insurance over, tax and she'll be using it or my HDI so I definitely need to replace the clutch to make it lighter and get the AC working again.

Both my Dturbo and estate have working AC, come to think of it I also fixed it on her 206.
