Guys,

Looking at the proper ribbed glass headlights for my Rallye. Don't want to hear about crystals being better etc, this isn't about what's better.

Anyhow, looking at Service box, my Rallye appears to have come with Single optic headlights...

Before it got stripped into 1000000000 pieces, it had Ph3 crystals. They'd be twin optic I guess. Question is, would they run on a single optic stalk? Trying to figure if my stalk has been changed etc

Also, anyone got any idea why there appears to be several different, single optic, ph2 headlights?

I need 6205Q8

Plenty of 6205Q6's about, which are single optic....any ideas on difference?

I'd call BS on that (as much as I can from over here cause we don't have rallyes) and anyway how is a single optic meant to run with a single filament bulb? Something is wrong in service box there. And on high beam twin optic stalks should have low and high on at the same time single is on or the other (hence the names LOL) but as I said the single optic should run a twin filament bulb (h4 not h7) or else the wouldn't be a high beam at all...

Think you may find that you have Twin Optic non crystals, same as mine. When I look it up in service box I get the same image and info but I know mine are twin optic.
6205Q8 RH and 6204Q8 LH are twin optic ph2.
If you look under characteristics in servicebox you'll see what was factory fitted to yours.
