Hi all, just stripping all the bits and pieces of my engine ready for cleaning and powder coating etc, this big mother f....r bracket has 6 bolts on it, 2 of which seem to be 'countersunk' into the bracket, I can just get the socket on but not a very good grip at all, is this the way they come out or if I undo all the others, does the bracket lift over these 2 countersunk ones - sorry if this is a stupid question but I'm very good at those! LOL

clean the crud from around the heads and use a decent thin wall socket.

Yes, you will need to remove those ones too.

Follow Welshpug's advice, should come out no problem.
