Does anyone know how much if possible, of the front wheel arch seem I can cut back. I don't know if the two parts are spot welded together, I can see spot welds further up above the wheel.
Or should I just fold it back gently with a hammer.

Ahh, I thought that might be the case, didn't really want to take it somewhere to have it welded, as I don't know anywhere around here.
Will remove the sealant and paint and see where the spot welds are, and try and cut it back just enough if possible.
Thanks Ross, oh and nearly finished the bumper too, took a lot looonger than I thought.

Lol what size wheels have you gone for then 18"?

I've seen a.few 306's sit closer than that on 15's in my time.... due to being crashed and bent wishbones lol.

Tyres are 225 45 17, strange thing is the nearside wheel rubs more when turning more than the off side, is that something to do with rack and 6 speed box combination?.
Anyway, got new wishbones and ball joints from Febi, going to make little balljoint extensions which will space the wheel out by 30mm and move the balljoint further forward by 30mm. Have found that Citroen C5 drive shafts are about 30mm longer than 306 ones, so will order a pair of those. Just need to extend the track rod somehow.
Contemplating buying a little bandsaw or just use the jigsaw to cut the 6mm plate steel for the extensions.

I used the same website to check tyre diameters before buying the tyres.
