Without risk there's not going to be excitement? Every time you push to the limit you know there's danger sadly for some this danger leads to the ultimate sacrifice. It's a shame that the sport has this but realistically every sport has dangers. Sad news tho . A freind of mine passed away on his bike 2 years ago but his motto was if the speed one day kills me do not be afraid as I died doing what I loved.

Yuck that is awful, that said I do think Coombe is bloody lethal as tracks go

I'm not sure it's all that bad to be honest. Just needs a bit of respect in certain places, especially in the wet.
Last time at Blyton sprint we had two cars on their roof in the middle of a massive field, just due to them running out of talent. You would never have thought it could happen!
