Hi guys, anyone got any recommendations for insurance for my HDI, Neil at Greenlight did me a cracking price on the Rallye but can't help me on the HDI. I'd be after fully comp with the wife included as a named driver. Done all the usual routes but I'm reluctant to pay £450 when the Rallye was only £265 ! (or am I being unreasonable)

cheers Thumbs up

It worked out massively cheaper for me insuring a standard car on a normal policy found through a comparison site and then getting a specialist insurer to mirror my NCB onto the 306.

Is the charge for the HDI unreasonable if you are potentially doing more miles in it? It is higher risk as it is less cherished? I wouldn't be surprised if 306 dieseases have more crashes and claims against them these days.

Is the 450 the best price through comparison sites? Bear in mind you can ring the company direct and ask for a discount and they may say yes.
