Not quite a gti6 or rallye. But we can consider I similar...

Got a xsara picasso 1.8 16v. It has a tendency to stall itself, and just be a little 'fluffy' if that makes sense sometimes.

It's OK when it's going and your driving along, but it's more when slowing down, and then going to put your foot down again.

It just had a service for the first time in 3 years.... and I wasn't sure if it was more coincidence or something has happened. It has had an engine management light on for a while, although I'm not sure what the code is at the moment... Doesn't help the cause, but as said has only just started getting worse since the service etc.

late ones are FBW, so probably that.

but get it on Lexia and go for a drive, you'll soon find what it is.

Am I missing something with FBW?

It's a 2002 car so not overly old, assuming an earlier one?

I should have twigged!

Is it possible either maf tps could be at fault assuming it isn't a fly by wire job? Or is 2002 late enough to possibly be on there? Just looking at the easy things to unplug and try before having to look for a planet laptop.

Yeh I changed it. Like for like replacements. Albeit different makes. Everything seemed correct and everything went together fine. I'd not really driven the car much but I assume it is something just seeming to get a bit worse.

From what I know it runs fine. Just seems like it's wanting to stall. Presumably when stopping.

I was think icv myself but haven't been able to check anything.

I assume if it has an icv, if I unplug it, it should prove a fault or not maybe?

Yeh I was half thinking they were a possibility. There was a loose heat shield underneath that had been rattling around on top of the lambda sensor and wire. So thought it may have done something to the wires.

Will have to get it plugged in tomorrow. Just hoping for a starting point t.
