Me and my friend/boss decided to do a track day for fun and thought these great cars would be a good starting point.

Welcome Wave

They are a great track car for a beginner and are inexpensive compared to others.

All I will say is they are a difficult car to obtain more BHP out off on a budget so just focus on getting new/refreshed suspension fitted and you'll have a hoot!

I got some apex shocks and springs, upper strut brace and poly bushed front arms. Budgets was a bit tight to begin with as the gearbox mount bolt striped out the box and obliterated the drive shaft and engine mount 😢. But all is well now went crazy with the welder and some 6mm plate

Someone local for a change, Look in the suspension bit but things like Polly bush's, Apex springs don't really work or are any better than a standard part, you'll find loads of stuff like this for Pug's I'm afraid as allot of it is just ****

Change all the fluids, check the pads, decent tyres then just drive it.
Oil cooler before anything really

Pads I tend to use Clio 1155's which do most with some 6 groove disc's, comes to around £180.00 for the lot complete, Fluid any DOT 4, make sure rear compensator is good unless a late model
