Anyone know what the thread size is for the oil temp sensor in the sump? Not sure how to wire up the existing one with my data logger so want to get a replacement.

14x1.25 or 16x1.5.

easy to wire up, single wire from the dash, earth is body of the sender same as coolant temp.

not usually the same resistance range as the aftermarket gauges though

From looking at the manual of my data logger (Race Technology DL1 CluCool I might need a resistor but no idea what size to get the right values?

Any idea whether mine would be an M14 or M16? Need to get a thread adapter to work with the aftermarket sensor.

Failing that, is it a Bosch sensor? Found some info that they need a 1000ohm resistor to work properly

That's a pain. I'm not sure how to find out what resistor it needs to get the right values.

check its resistance across a few temperatures, and compare it with what resistances you need.
